Silverton

Silverton was once a mining town with a population of over 3000, but today it’s only around 50.  The town is 25 km north of Broken Hill and is easily accessible on a good sealed road.  There are plenty of old buildings around, art and craft stores, an old gaol,  Silverton Pub, a few donkeys wandering around.  Outback at its best.
